Hello everyone!!!!,

Hope you 've had a wonderful weekend, but now let's get to the concerning point, don't you agree? This time I'll be telling you about my last trip to the city of Hamburg.

I got picked up around 14:00 ,more or less, by Patricia's host-parents and obviously: Patricia and Sheila. After two long hours of going through the main highway's road we finally arrived. My first impression of this huge city was the urban atmosphere that filled up the environment. As you get closer to the heart of the city you can appreciate how slowly the landscape of brick buildings and factories turns into a more baroque stilled infrastructure.

Shortly afterwards, we went to the most known funfair in the city: Hamburger Dom. This place was full of cool rides and curious stands with all kind of handmade products. As expected, the ice-cold wind and the rainy weather did not last to much until they arrived. However, there is no thing which cannot be solved with hot chocolate.

Besides, we visited the most famous bridge in  the whole country: Landungsbrücke. A bridge located in the north side of the river Elbe and we had the chance to visit the Hamburg Rock Cafe.

Finally I got home by 22:00 after a tiring but worth it day.

As usuall, here below you have some pictures:

Hello guys!!!!,

Hope you are ready for a new Week-Revisión. As I told you in my previous writing, I´m about to start the Easter Holidays, which means more activities, more exitement and therefore, more fun!!!

Though this has been my last week at Gymnasium Wildeshausen, I 've been certainly busy for the past few days now. In other words I've mostly doing work for school and so I have'nt done much. Of course, this is just a reminding just in case you did not read my previos writing, so let's get to the point we are looking foward.

Yesterdays Saturday was just the beginning, a tremendous visit to the unique city of Bremen. An amazing place full of history and the most pure German tradition. I personally would stand out the remarkable Market Square and Böttcherstrasse, a medieval alley that connects the Market Square with the Wesser River.

I did also took advantige to do some shopping in some of the little shops from the old part of the city (in German: Altstadt) and, despite the rainy weather and the ice-cold climate, this has surely been one the most attractive places I´ve ever been to. I won't mind coming back some day.

Furthermore, today I enjoyed a ride around the surroundings of my neighbourhood, Dünsen. It was  all a surprise to see the place you 've been living for some time with another perspective and at the same time feeling how peaceful can nature be when you simply let it go.

Once again, here below you have got some pictures to make up your mind about the weekend:

Hey guys,

Here once more ,like every weekend, writing you about how are things going round here. I must say I´ve been doing tons of work before going on vacation for Easter and I've had almost no time to do much. However I'm looking foward this week to end and so have more time to tell you the amazing plans we've done for these two free weeks. You could never wonder what are we about to do.

Meanwhile, there you have some pictures from me doing some cooking.
See you son,

This one was done with my phone camera, sorry it does'nt look clearer.

Hi guys!!,

How are you doing? I'm so sorry, but it's been imposible for me to write due to some technical problems with my laptop. Nevertheless, I´m back ,once more, with lots of incredible stuff to tell you about my staying here in Germany.

This time I'm particularly focusing on my last weekend, which was absolutely remarkable. It all started with me waking up earlier than usual, around 6:00 am or so, with this spectacular sunrise.

Moreover, after a nice breakfast (certainly usefull as I'd have never expected what was about to come), I preapered my camera to take some pictures from my next stopping place: the Wolfcenter.

The wolfcenter is a wolf park about an hour away from Wildeshausen. The aim of this wolfs refuge is to preserve the wolf as an animal specie in Germany and make people aware about the enormous value of these beautiful predators. The facilities count with worldwide wolfs, such as: European wolfs, Czechoslovakian dog-wolfs or even Canadian wolfs. To me this was a breathtaking experience I did never imagined before coming here. Just in case you did'nt know, wolfs are my favourite animals together with: the owl, the lion and the bear. As normally...PICTURES!!!!!!!!!

Later on, in the evening, I went booling with Patricia and Sheila. Afterwards we had something for dinner and we also played some pool, we truthly spent a good time. Unfortunately I have'nt recieved the pictures yet, sorry about that...

The next day morning, I drove with Sheila and her German parents to a small village up the north called Norddeich where I would meet Patricia. The distintive feature of this town is that is located by the North Sea. I personally found it marvelous, however, this did'nt end here, because we were told that later on the water level would decrease and so leaving some empty space. In other words we could walk upon the sea level without sinking in the water.

To save some time we went to the Sea-lion House. There, we got some explanation about the life of these animals and some interesting facts about there life in open sea.

Finally, predictions became true and we enjoyed an awe-inspiring sight of the German coast. Watch it by yourself down here.

See you guys next time,

Bye

Hi everyone,

Like any other week, today is: Revising Week Day!!!!!!
.
Classes are going as usually, there's not much to say about it. However, while reading my last week-revisions I did'nt find any reference to my daily ride to school so down here you have a quick explanation.

Every day at 7:00am I take the bus at a nearby bus stop just turning the corner of the neighbourhood. To get on I need a bus card which was given to me about two weeks at the school's office. It looks like this:

Moreover, yesterday  we had a bright sunny day and I came along by Swanny's (my German partner) grandparents to have a traditional north German dischs. The disch is called: Grünkohl, it's a typical vegetable from the area where I live and is served with boiled potatoes, pork and smoked sausages. Absolutly delicious!!!

Later on, we took a walk by the surroundings until we stopped at a deer farm. I was completely astonished, I'd never  seen one before in my hole life!!! We stayed for a while giving some bread to these lovely animals and then we went back home.

Today I had breakfast by Swantje's uncle for his birthday. The breakfast was full of food: nice crunchy warm bread, rasberry jam, ham, orange juice, coffee, tea, all kind of cheese and slices of tomato and cucumber.
So now I've defenately met the whole family and must say there were all very kind to me and we spent a great all together.
